Tape offers hundreds of handcrafted percussive strikes, stingers, multi-samples and effects captured through destroyed cassette and microcassette tapes – for electronic and hybrid percussion.

The gritty lo-fi character of decades-old tape recorders, with variable speed, wow and flutter and mechanical noises, shapes every sound, and all sounds are designed to blend and sequence with one another. The library includes 19 ready-made percussion kits, kicks, snares, toms, cymbal-like sounds, 238 effect strikes and stingers, 243 multi-samples of real tape recorder sounds and 24 ambient and pad presets. Tape suits EDM, IDM, dubstep, glitch, downtempo, ambient and soundtrack work as well as sci-fi sound design and user interface sounds for games and apps.
