Steel Water Bottle is a deeply multi-sampled found percussion library capturing the sounds of a well-loved, dented stainless steel bottle.

Every imaginable tone was drawn from the bottle: grabs, knocks, pokes, rings, ring mutes, slaps, sloshes and pings – each with 12 round robins and up to 5 velocity layers per note, playable alone or as an ensemble. Alongside a close, wide stereo recording, a second mic position uses a tetrahedral binaural microphone for an intimate, enveloping first-person perspective of playing the instrument. Ambient soundscapes, pads and drones created from the source, 20 FX presets plus LFO, filter, arpeggiator and an FX rack with convolution reverb extend the instrument.
