Sonespheres 2 - Origins is the second volume of composer Blake Ewing’s Sonespheres series, with atmospheric synths, pads, drones and soundscapes crafted from lush symphonic woodwind recordings.

Blake Ewing, a film and TV composer and long-time Soundiron collaborator, turns woodwind recordings into fluid textures, evolving pads and tonal ambiences with a fine ear for layering, detail and emotional weight. Two independent sample modules, each with its own category and preset menus, offer automatable controls for volume, attack, start offset, release, bass, treble, pitch, pan, filter and LFO, plus a cross-fader, legato glide and a step-sequencable arpeggiator. The FX rack with 18 effects includes chorus, delay, phaser, tape, saturation and a convolution reverb with more than 100 impulse responses.
