A comprehensive collection of 95 shakers, tambourines, rattles and bells from around the world, performed live by British instrumentalist and media composer David Oliver.

The selection ranges from plastic and rawhide egg shakers and rawhide, plastic and wooden maracas to instruments made from reeds, seed pods, gourds, rattan, coconuts, nut shells, bamboo, wood and metal, complemented by shakers built or improvised by David himself and various caxixi combinations. Besides individually sampled hits, Shake contains live-performed grooves, fills, flourishes and rolls, sliced into seamless 2-bar loops in 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/8 and 7/8 from 80 to 140 BPM in 20 BPM steps, plus 4/4 maraca patterns from 160 to 280 BPM. The loop browser filters by style, instrument, tempo and time signature, and in the slot grid you can edit each loop down to the individual transient slice with playback direction, slice order, ADSR and step automation for volume, pitch, pan, filter cutoff and resonance.
