The third volume of the Rust series focuses on powerful bass and rich tone – with tuned and untuned metal percussion, effects and sustaining sounds.

For Rust 3, a huge variety of surfaces, objects, oddities and custom-built contraptions was recorded very up close in wide stereo to capture even the subtlest resonances and overtones. More than 100 sound sets deliver alternative drum kit concepts, richly complex tuned percussion, dramatic effects and stingers, plus lead, pad and ambient sounds. The Mega Mixermaster lets you build your own ensembles and kits with custom key range, tuning and mapping, the Layer Builders combine 12 independent layers into hybrid tuned instruments, and Rustains, Drone Rig and Rumbiences provide morphing sustains with optional polyphonic legato – complemented by the Uberpeggiator, LFOs, EQ and convolution reverb.
