Deeply sampled riq and daf frame drums from Egypt and Greece for Middle Eastern, Central Asian and Eastern European colours and your own percussion creations.

The recordings feature a 15-inch daf from Greece with metal rings, a 13-inch riq from Egypt with wide tin jingles and a toy frame drum modified into a miniature riq with added egg shakers. Articulations range from bone and felt mallet strikes, wooden dowels, brushes, finger and hand strikes to shake singles, rolls and tabla-style bass bends, mostly with 5 to 8 velocity layers and 10 round robins. The library also includes 91 atmospheric textures created from the source recordings, a Megamixer for building kits, a dual-layer interface for tuned percussion, the Uberpeggiator for arpeggios and rolls, and an effects rack with room and reverb impulses.
