A rare 49-key electric reed organ built in the 1950s by the Italian electronics company Farfisa, with a warm, humble yet full-bodied tone.

Microrgan was recorded in a dry studio with a pair of Neumann TLM 103 microphones, capturing the organ’s stock presets as infinite sustains and tight staccatos for every key. Going well beyond a plain organ library, it adds 20 sound-designed synth and FX presets and 40 ambiences that can be played chromatically as atmospheric synths, drones and pads or used directly in your DAW for underscoring and texture. Controls for volume, attack, release, transient offset, vibrato and octave layering, glide for legato and portamento, an LFO, 13 filters and an arpeggiator shape the sound further. A complete FX rack with convolution reverb, EQ, phaser, flanger, delay, distortion and amp and speaker simulation rounds off the instrument.
