A very eerie and dark collection of metallic percussive and semi-melodic effects for horror and suspense scoring, sound design, trailers, post-production and experimental and ambient music.

The source object, whose origins Soundiron keeps a closely guarded secret, was played with bows, mallets, metal rods, rubber balls, fingers, fists, drumsticks, nylon, metal brushes, rasps and files, water and earth. Viola bows on its edges produced eerie melodic and dissonant tones as long sustains, gliss effects, staccato, spiccato and tremolo, while finger drags, rubber ball and flat mallet rubs make it resonate like a rubbed gong. Strikes with wooden, felt and metal-tipped mallets and sticks are joined by new ambiences, drones and atmospheric pads created from the raw recordings and 20 FX presets. The Kontakt interface with LFO, 12 filters, arpeggiator, key and scale lock and a modular FX rack invites further sound shaping.
