A chromatically sampled alto tin penny whistle – the classic folk instrument, complemented by sound design atmospheres and flute soundscapes.

The penny whistle belongs to the fipple flute family and is similar in design to recorders and Native American wooden pentatonic flutes. It was recorded dry, capturing sustains, vibrato, flutter tongue and trills, staccatos with fourfold round robin, short performance phrases and effects, plus plenty of sound design atmospheres and flute soundscapes. Iron Pack 11 in the Iron Packs series comprises 128 samples and 14 presets, each in Kontakt format and as universal SFZ presets.
