Hyperion Brass Micro was recorded up close in the historic Studio A at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, California, then hand-edited and carefully balanced, giving the ensemble a forward, robust sound with a wide dynamic range. It includes a combo ensemble preset and four master presets for 6 trumpets, 4 tenor trombones, 4 French horns and 3 tubas, with sustains recorded at piano, mezzo-forte and forte, staccatos and staccatissimos with four round-robins, and crescendos, decrescendos, sforzandos and swells with tempo sync. The Easy-Lead feature lets you go from tight staccatos to dynamic sustains without keyswitching, simply by how long you hold the keys. The intuitive modular design makes it easy for beginners, while spatialisation controls and positioning of each section within dozens of rooms, halls, chambers and effect environments give experienced composers plenty of room to shape the sound.
