The rare 1970s Italian electronic organ and synthesizer Elgam 610/R with Bass, Special and Normal voice sections, sampled for Kontakt.

Elgam built the 610/R in Italy sometime during the 1970s; little is known about the instrument, but this 61-key rarity offers Bass, Special and Normal voices, vibrato for the Special voices, long colourful switches and built-in speakers. Soundiron recorded its stock presets with sustains and staccatos in a dry studio through a pair of Neumann TLM 103 microphones and direct line in, then crafted over 30 evolving atmospheric pads from the source. Volume, attack, release, transient offset, vibrato, octave layering, Glide, LFO, 13 filters, arpeggiator and an FX rack with convolution reverb let you shape the sound as you like.
