Inspired by the piercing, percussive quality of glass jars banging together, Soundiron spent weeks turning high-fidelity glass recordings into an out-of-the-box glitch percussion tool. All sounds are cohesive, so practically any sound can follow any other: switch on the arpeggiator, tweak the sequencer and play, or sequence the bass preset on the downbeats and the effects preset in the spaces between. Crystal suits minimal, EDM, IDM, dubstep, chillwave, glitch, post-rock, soundtrack, downtempo, dub and ambient music and works just as well for sci-fi sound design and user interface sounds in games and apps.
