The recordings include bamboo poles and logs, claves, woodblocks, clappers, castanets, a box drum and other wooden implements, captured up close and 90 percent dry in a medium-sized hardwood and masonry percussion studio. Each instrument has an average of 6 velocity layers with 10 round robins each, giving the sounds body and liveliness. For version 3.0 the samples were remastered, built into an efficient four-layer interface and expanded with new ambient pads, atmospheres and 20 custom FX presets.
