A mighty compendium of experimental percussion, melodic sustaining and special effects instruments built from field recordings, found sounds and unusual sources.

The palette spans everything from rich bass tones and boomers to tight clicks, clacks and clanks, but Antidrum 3 covers much more than percussion: electronics, resonant surfaces, alarms, appliances, electric toothbrushes, elevators, cattle and giant plate glass windows also provide melodic material. The sounds were collected over a three-year period while travelling around California and Texas. The 24 master presets offer key-switchable sound banks such as aluminium tubes, barbed wire, cinematic stingers, power kicks, building construction sounds, firework booms, a microwave oven kit, squeaky toys and shouts and hollers. Attack, release, filter sweep, arpeggiator and an effects rack with convolution reverb let you shape the sounds further.
