The Conn Prelude 311 features a real spring reverb unit, two 44-key keyboards, the Min-O-Matic rhythm machine and plenty of emulated voices such as clarinet, trombone, violin and guitar tremolo, while its classic wooden body echoes the aesthetics of the 1970s. Soundiron sampled its best sustains, staccatos and effects in three microphone positions, with vibrato and a special Octave knob that smoothly rolls in lower and higher octaves. Custom FX patches and ambient synth pads designed from the source recordings make the library highly versatile, from retro video game sounds and huge synth bass tones to playing straight from the hymnal.
