The second volume of the Delphi Piano series turns a rare box grand piano with an untamed spirit into a source of massive, emotionally charged textures.

The Delphi Piano series uses vintage and classic instruments as portals into new worlds of sound design, and the Knightsen Box Grand is no ordinary old piano but one with a wild side. Notes, releases, clusters, glisses, dead keys and pedal noises were sampled in two microphone positions to preserve its beauty and flaws alike, then reshaped into 11 ambient pads, drones and impacts as well as evolving textures, patterns, abstractions and distortions. With 37 NKI presets, 36 FX and ambient presets, LFO, filters, arpeggiator, scale lock and an FX rack with 27 effect modules, the sound can be transformed from playable soundscapes to transcendent leads.
