Deeply emotive Ukrainian lyrical phrases, chromatic vowel sustains, staccatos and expressive swells from vocalist Kristina Glushenkova, rooted in folk tradition.

The library was developed in close partnership with session producer, director and engineer Maks Histibe, who hand-selected 864 lyrical phrases derived from Ukrainian poetic literature from 1698 to 1905; sung by Kristina Glushenkova and recorded on location at Letti Music in Kyiv, each performance combines cultural heritage with the improvisational nuance of deep folk tradition. The interface makes it easy to sequence and recombine the phrases, with real-time on-screen captions in English and Ukrainian as you play. It also offers 267 pure vowel melodic phrases, playable chromatic sustains, swells and staccatos with round robins on Ah, Oo and hummed vowels, plus 60 soundscapes, synth leads and pads created from the vocal recordings.
