The library captures an 18th-century Italian Bizzi harpsichord belonging to Claudia Ferrero, a renowned teacher and Renaissance performer, recorded in a warm-sounding studio in San Raffaele Cimena, Italy. Two stereo microphone positions, Bridge and Soundboard, preserve the character of both the instrument and the room. Alongside the piano and forte registers, you get glissandos, slides, percussive impacts, plucks, scrapes and taps. Custom FX presets and 20 ambient pads and drones created from the source material add modern colours to this Baroque instrument.
