A virtual electric sitar that unites tradition and modern recording techniques, with detailed multi-samples, ornaments and over 3,000 live phrases.

For Sitarion, Chithrinie Nirupama recorded her custom sitar built by luthier Sanjay Rikhi Ram Sharma. The plucks were captured for every playable note with 6 velocity layers and 12 round robins, complemented by the chikari and resonant strings and ornaments such as hammer-ons, meends (slides and bends) in semitone and whole-tone steps and krinthans, an Indian technique combining hammer-on and pull-off, in several dynamics and speeds, with all multi-samples in damped and open versions. Over 3,000 live phrases in six tempos and six root notes bring authentic playing straight into your arrangement. The interface offers real-time articulation selection, key switches, an arpeggiator, a phrase sequencer and a full effects rack.
