A string library for orchestral scoring with 30 players, true legato, extensive articulations and four microphone positions, from intimate to expansive.

Hyperion Strings Ensemble features 8 first violins, 7 second violins, 6 violas, 5 cellos and 4 double basses, compact enough for natural divisi, while a 12-layer slot system lets you build large symphonic groupings. Fingered and glissando true legato with adaptive speed, dynamic sustains, trills, tremolo, flautando, ponticello and harmonics meet staccatos, spiccatos, pizzicatos, Bartók snaps and col legno with up to 8 round robins. Crescendos, sforzandos and swells with tempo sync, plus chromatic and aleatoric effects such as clusters, risers and stingers complete the range, and the first violins also come with sordino articulations. Four microphone positions, Stage, Close, Mid Hall and Far Hall, let you create your own mix, from intense and clear to atmospheric.
