aXDeesser removes sibilance from Ambisonic recordings and can be used on any Ambisonic signal in AmbiX format (SN3D/ACN).

The plug-in works like a traditional de-esser, but the sibilance band compression can be side-chained by pointing a virtual microphone at any point in your immersive scene. You select the direction to focus on, so the compression is only triggered when the level picked up by the virtual microphone exceeds the threshold. aXDeesser processes Ambisonics up to tenth order, depending on DAW compatibility.
