Beat ReBuilder deciphers a beat and adds layers of sound on top – for replacing or augmenting parts of a beat and as inspiration for new MIDI patterns and audio loops.

Using advanced audio classification and fingerprinting, Beat ReBuilder detects percussive sounds within audio; you can then layer your own samples on top of the beat, replace it entirely or drag and drop the MIDI data into your own drum machine. The plug-in outputs MIDI and audio, renders MIDI clips and continuously generates a real-time MIDI stream matching the incoming audio – for example to find the position of each beat in a song and quickly build a track that augments the existing drums. With EQ and a crossfade it also acts as a real-time beat layering machine, much like a DJ environment, and it turns the most recent audio loop into a matching MIDI loop that you can drag into your DAW for drum tracks or sequencers.
