Theremin Synth takes the theremin as a template for a new way to control a mono synth – for vintage-style synth leads, productions and sound effects.

At its core, Theremin Synth is a mono-voice synth geared towards vintage-style synth leads, with hard sync and tone control similar to the early modular synths of the great synth pioneers. The novel idea is that, as with a theremin, you control pitch and volume each with a single parameter, and because the synth is always mono with portamento, it slides between notes as you move up and down the range. Optionally, you can quantise the input pitch to a selected scale so the sound slides through all the notes of that scale, and up to three different waveforms can be combined for an extra rich tone.
