VST Connect Pro 5 is Steinberg’s remote recording solution: record voice talent, musicians and other performers in professional quality directly into Cubase or Nuendo, wherever they are in the world.

The performer only needs a computer, an internet connection and the VST Connect Performer app; you can see and talk to each other while the producer controls cue mix and talkback at both ends of the connection. Up to 16 channels at up to 192 kHz are recorded in real time, the uncompressed audio files are transferred automatically in the background, and the HD recordings are also stored on the performer’s hard drive, from where they can be reloaded at any time. MIDI works both ways, so you can record a virtual instrument played at the remote end or send MIDI from your Cubase project to remote instruments. For dialogue work, VST Connect Pro offers a remote ADR toolset with lip-synced video playback, swipes, counters and prompting, and with the Studio Pass app your client can listen in and give feedback.
