HALion 7 combines six forms of synthesis, including FM, spectral, wavetable, virtual analogue and granular, with a high-performance sample engine for large libraries, and includes more than 35 GB of content, 3,700 presets and 15 instruments. The spectral oscillator with its in-house time-stretch and resynthesis algorithm changes playback speed in real time without affecting pitch and offers formant shift, spectral filter, purity and inharmonicity, while the FM Zone developed with Yamaha combines up to eight operators. Wavetables with up to 1,024 waves, also from multichannel files up to 5.1, Decompose for splitting tonal and noise components and drag-and-drop modulation rows expand your sound design options. The Lua scripting language also lets you build complex instruments and sample libraries with their own user interfaces.
