Electric Bass for HALion lets you create versatile and extremely realistic bass guitar parts for any style – from ’70s soul jams and classic jazz to a big bass sound that cuts through every mix.

Using different pickup configurations, you can recreate the sound of nearly every classic electric bass, from J-bass to P-bass and MM-bass, with the modelled passive tone control interacting with the selected pickups. While playing, you switch fluently between slap/pull, slides, push, pull, artificial and natural harmonics, sustain with or without pick and muted bass; all keyswitches are mapped from C0 to G0, and ghost notes for lower velocities can be activated separately. Twelve bass player styles each follow their own logic for which string and fret position the next note is played on. The fretboard shows hand position, played notes and playing technique at a glance, while the included amps and effects complete the sound.
