Verve is a warm and dreamy felt piano with cinematic textures, recorded at the Yamaha Studios in Los Angeles with a precision one-finger robot.

The HALion team and Yamaha’s sound design team sampled every key with a bespoke one-finger robot that captures velocities with the highest accuracy and repeatability. You can make the sound softer or harder, add compression and reverb, change the pitch, adjust attack and release noises and add pedal noise; the sustain resonance is adjustable too. Textures made from metal, glass, dry ice, electronic devices recorded through electromagnetic pickups and orchestral strings come with 66 presets and expand the piano atmospherically. The Variation and Contour parameters shape the nuances and bring motion to the textures – ideal for intimate scores, warm timbres and soft nuances.
