Drum expansion for Steven Slate Drums with kits recorded by Chris Lord-Alge and mixed in his classic style.

In spring 2012, Chris Lord-Alge revisited his roots as a recording engineer and recorded several drum kits at OCEAN studios in Burbank. He then mixed them in his LA mix room using the same processing chains heard on his records, and even printed a sample layer of his famous SONY reverb unit on the kicks and snares. The result is fat, punchy, mix-ready drums for Steven Slate Drums, with multiple articulations on the snares.
