A generative synthesis tool for sound and pitch that turns your scales and chords into futuristic soundscapes and vivid harmonies.

Obscurium works like a modular system yet remains easy to access: an emulated analogue oscillator with unison and an FM oscillator with flexible ratio run through an effect section and are mixed and modulated via the sequencer, so every step can sound different. Super Obscure Mode draws sequences automatically, the Modifiers paint all parameters at once, and parameter shifting rotates values and their motion lanes for organically evolving sounds. You can also morph between two sequencer states, while the Clock tab with two mini sequencers varies speed, swing and direction. Through its VST interface, Obscurium hosts your VST2 sound generators and sends trigger, pitch and 11 automation lanes, while MIDI out drives further instruments.
