PolyRex from the SuperKeys series by Safari Audio is a virtual polysynth inspired by analogue polysynths of the early 80s and made for creating rather than menu diving.

PolyRex takes up the spirit of classic Japanese polysynths, with glowing chorus, drifting movement and a soft but punchy filter, and develops it in its own way. The sound range extends from dreamy pads and punchy basses to glassy plucks and cinematic sounds. Sound generation offers square and sub oscillators, a noise generator, PWM and LFO pitch modulation, plus a resonant filter, a high-pass filter and an ADSR envelope with envelope and gate modes. An arpeggiator, LFO with rate and delay time, glide and the effects chorus, delay and spring are built in.
