The flexible spring reverb that uses physical modelling to recreate three classic reverb tanks from guitar and instrument amplifiers.

Twangström does not mimic the sonic result but simulates the physical device itself, including excitation, reflection, dispersion and interference, so all dimensions of the springs can be controlled in real time. The three reverb tanks are joined by a drive and tone stage, a resonant multimode filter, a four-mode envelope that follows the input, output or an external sidechain, an LFO with eight waveforms and a modulation matrix. The Twang control shakes the springs manually or via modulation; modulated slightly, it brings the reverb to life, and pushed further it creates unusual, evolving textures.
