First published in 2004 and an important milestone for u-he, Filterscape has now been upgraded with modern technology: the new multiband EQ is based on an analogue model optimised for rapid modulation, and new analogue filter models offer smooth drive and resonance characteristics. Filterscape FX combines two multimode filters with blendable lowpass, bandpass, highpass and notch modes, a four-band EQ with five modes and up to 24 dB of cut and boost per band, eight morphable snapshots, a stereo delay, two sequencers, two LFOs and four envelope followers. Filterscape Q6 adds low and high shelving filters and frequency-dependent envelope followers to the same morphing EQ, while Filterscape VA uses the upgraded EQ and filter section as a virtual analogue synthesizer.
