The semi-modular synthesizer in which any output can be connected to any input, easy to learn yet powerful.

ACE has a default fixed architecture so you can start making sound right away, but any default routing can be overridden with patch cables, and because ACE does not differentiate between audio and control signals, any output can be plugged into any signal input. Its two VCOs are modelled on analogue circuits including their instabilities and offer circuit bending options, a sub-oscillator, ring modulation, sync and cross modulation, while the two multimode filters can be overdriven without harsh distortion and pushed into self-oscillation. A mapping generator with up to 128 values, two ADSR envelopes, two LFOs reaching into the audio range, a ramp generator, plus chorus, delay and bass and treble controls complete the sound shaping options.
