MELLOW 2 is a virtual double bassist that adds body, texture and a big bottom end to jazz, soul, RnB, singer-songwriter and hip-hop productions.

At its heart is a meticulously recorded acoustic double bass, played with soul and feel and complete with the odd noise here and there – a subtle foundation in a jazz trio and a powerful second voice in hip-hop. Microphones, pick position and mixer channel are adjustable, and a real recorded room provides ambience without mush. Controls for amp, character, vibrato, room reverb, octave, dynamics and EQ complement Player Mode with 60 styles and 1380 phrases and Instrument Mode with dead notes, full stops and slides.
