LEGEND is a 70s-style virtual drummer whose dry, punchy sound cuts through the mix with a warm, retro feel.

Like the engineers of that era, LEGEND relies on close-miked, deadened drum heads and other dampening techniques. The upfront, directly recorded sounds suit indie rock as well as lo-fi and are primed to absorb further processing. The Dust slider controls mic proximity, and there are five drum kits, six mix presets and 30 styles with 23 MIDI patterns each, available via drag and drop or direct MIDI out.
