DOPE 2 gives you the crunchy drums, head-nodding swing and gritty vibe of 90s boom bap – without spending hours digging through old records.

Ten gritty boom bap kits are inspired by classic 90s samplers and MPC workflows. 460 patterns in 20 styles range from minimal east coast bounce to lo-fi jazz-hop grooves and are instantly playable. The “Vinyl Drive” control adds retro saturation and analogue dust, while micro timing with swing and shuffle dials in an authentic MPC-style, laid-back flow. A mixing page with level, pan, filter, ambience, saturation and routing, the sample grid and MIDI drag and drop round off the workflow.
