The licence unlocks sample playback on the Blofeld Desktop hardware synthesizer and provides around 60 MB of flash memory for factory and user samples.

License SL is the sample play option for the Blofeld Desktop and greatly extends its sonic possibilities: samples and multisamples pass through Blofeld’s synthesis engine just like the oscillators. You can start with the Standard sample set or the HGF waveset from the manufacturer’s download area, and your own samples are loaded as WAV files at 44.1 kHz, 16 bit, mono, with loop points and root key stored in the file header. Some Blofeld sound sets require License SL. Once installed, the Blofeld Desktop shows “SL LICENSED” on start-up.
