The popular Waldorf Blofeld synthesizer as a plug-in for your DAW – with extra features, compatible with existing sound sets and doubling as an editor for the Blofeld hardware.

The Blofeld plug-in delivers the typically fat and rich Waldorf sound, whose secret is a powerful wavetable engine based on the PPG synthesizers of the early 80s. Each voice offers three oscillators for wavetables, virtual analogue waveforms and samples, all Microwave II/XT/XTk wavetables, two multimode filters, four envelopes, three LFOs and a modulation matrix with 16 slots. Like the hardware, the plug-in is 16-part multitimbral with layering and splitting by key zone and velocity range. It also controls a Blofeld: you edit all sound parameters on the hardware, import presets directly from it and send presets, wavetables and samples back – covering the full functionality of Spectre.
