The update for owners of the original PPG Wave 3.V adds more than 100 new wavetables by Wolfgang Palm, user wavetable editing and innovations from the Waldorf Microwave.

With the update to the new version, Waldorf brings some of the Microwave innovations back to the PPG Wave 3.V – the Microwave itself was once inspired by the PPG Wave, with personal input from Wolfgang Palm. New are user wavetable editing and import, more than 100 new factory wavetables by Wolfgang Palm, the Mutator patch randomiser and a resizable interface. Still on board are two wavetable oscillators per voice, the authentic emulation of the PPG Wave aliasing and filter, True PPG mode, the 8-part multimode with up to 256 voices per instance and the effects section with EQ, overdrive, phaser, chorus, flanger, delay and reverb.
