Combines hum removal, buzz removal, brickwall filtering and spectrum analysis in one easy-to-use plug-in for cleaning up recordings.

Hum removal uses notch filters at multiples of the fundamental: you choose the fundamental frequency, up to ten harmonics and the notch width, with presets for 50 Hz and 60 Hz included. The frequency is continuously adjustable from 20 to 200 Hz, for example when hum recorded on tape has been played back on a different machine. For buzz, whose harmonics extend across the entire audible spectrum, MR Hum uses a separate, far more efficient algorithm, also from 20 to 200 Hz, complemented by brickwall filters against low and high frequency interference. A high-resolution spectrum display before or after processing and a monitor function for the removed signal make setting up easy.
