Removes clicks and crackle from phonograph recordings and other impulsive contamination, with separate processors for each type of disturbance.

Clicks are large disturbances such as a record scratch or a splice in a digital signal: the click processor detects them automatically and reconstructs the audio in their neighbourhood. The high-frequency crackle caused by dust or wear in the grooves is likewise detected automatically by the crackle processor, which smooths the signal around each event; an onset detector exempts the onsets of snare hits or cymbal crashes so attacks stay bright. A scrolling time display shows all detected click, crackle and onset events for easy setting of the detection thresholds, and a monitor function lets you hear the removed clicks and crackle.
