A lookahead peak limiter with ITU BS.1770 loudness metering for gain staging, volume maximisation and meeting loudness and true peak delivery requirements.

FinalPlug can be used as an insert effect for gain staging and volume maximisation, or at the end of your mastering chain to make sure your audio meets loudness and true peak delivery requirements. As a maximiser, you select an output ceiling such as -0.1 dB and lower the threshold to increase the volume. For delivery, you select the Analyze preset and a target specification, play your session and watch the integrated loudness and true peak levels, which turn orange if they exceed the targets; clicking MATCH then sets the limiter so the next pass meets the specification. True peak mode, auto-release, up to 8x oversampling, bit depth truncation and TPDF dither with noise shaping round out the feature set.
