At its core, MasterVerb 7 uses two late reverb algorithms: Hall models everything from small rooms to massive concert halls, while Plate produces super-dense, smooth plate reverbs for vocals and instruments. The early reflection section simulates halls, rooms, plates, chambers, cathedrals, nightclubs, echoes and ping-pong among others and can be adjusted independently of the late reverb, with a dedicated 3-band EQ for each stage. A triggered envelope processor enables gated and reverse reverb, a ducking compressor lowers the reverb during foreground sounds, and delays and envelope times can be synced to tempo. Graphical displays of EQ curves, time response and 3D frequency response, normal and detailed views and a scalable hi-DPI interface make it easy to work with.
