This plugin brings Abbey Road’s flagship Studio 3 control room to your headphones, so your headphone mixes translate to speakers.

Waves modelled the acoustics of the room with its Nx 3D audio technology, using channel crosstalk, inter-aural time and level differences and early reflections to recreate the feel of sitting in front of studio monitors. You can switch between the studio’s near-field, mid-field and far-field speakers, while correction curves based on the Harman target curve flatten the response of over 270 studio headphones. Room ambience, head measurements and optional head tracking via your computer’s camera or the Nx Head Tracker can be personalised, and 5.1 and 7.1 surround mixes can be monitored on standard stereo headphones.
