Magma Tube Channel Strip combines compression, gating, EQ and saturation with a rich analog tube sound in a fast channel strip for vocals, instruments and buses.

It is based on Waves’ True Valve Modeling technology, also used for the BB Tubes plugin, which models the circuit behaviour of carefully selected vintage tube hardware. Saturation ranges from subtle warmth to full harmonic distortion with soft clipping, while the EQ offers high and low shelves plus a wide mid bell with sweepable frequency. The single-knob compressor goes from gentle glue to aggressive pump, SMASH adds a higher ratio with fast attack and release, and the expander/gate tightens the sound. Over 450 presets come from producers and mix engineers such as Jacquire King, Greg Wells and Joe Chiccarelli.
