CLA Nx recreates the acoustics of Chris Lord-Alge’s Mix LA studio in your headphones, so your headphone mixes translate to speakers.

Using Waves Nx technology, it creates a three-dimensional soundfield that feels like sitting in CLA’s control room. Mix on his custom NS10 near-fields, his custom-built Ocean Way HR1 monitors or, for reality checks, his Sony boombox. Correction curves for over 270 headphone models based on the Harman target curve, adjustable ambience and calibration to your head measurements make monitoring reliable, and optional head tracking via your computer’s camera or the separately available Nx Head Tracker lets the sound follow your movements.
