MV2 combines a traditional compressor and an upward compressor in one plugin – for more volume and detail with just three controls.

MV2 compresses audio above a threshold while also compressing low-level audio upward. Bring up a drum’s room sound without compromising peaks, or sharpen the focus on tracks that were mixed too low without lowering everything else. On vocals it retains the voice’s subtle human qualities, even when recorded hot, and on piano, guitar, drums or wind instruments it elevates the room ambience. Three controls are all you need: the upper threshold, the lower threshold and the output level.

Features

• Two special-purpose compressors in one plugin
• Accent room sound on acoustic instruments while retaining dynamics
• Just three controls
• On vocals: controls peaks and lifts lower levels
• Use as a leveling amplifier for widely varying dynamics
