Trans-X shapes transients across the full spectrum or in four separate bands, moving sounds forward or further back in the mix.

Make drums softer or punchier, give acoustic guitars more attack, or make electric bass smoother or more aggressive. In Multiband mode, four bands are shaped independently – so even on a finished stereo mix you can harden the kick while softening acoustic guitar strums. Transients are detected by level and duration and shaped with gain and release; the phase-compensated crossover minimises colouration, and 25 presets from top engineers cover common mixing needs.
