Based on psychoacoustic research, MaxxBass generates harmonics that convince the ear it is hearing deeper bass – even on the smallest speakers.

Because the effect does not require speakers with extended bass, music, videos and film deliver convincing low end even on phones, laptops and small systems. Applied subtly to a master, it makes the bass rounder and better defined without a big low-frequency level boost, and it can also enhance individual bass tracks, for example in hip hop and dance mixes. Blend the original and enhanced bass to taste, tighten the harmonics with a high-pass filter, choose a richer or tighter harmonic spectrum and emphasise its dynamics with upward expansion.
