Linear Phase EQ is a transparent equaliser with no phase shift – ideal for mastering, multi-miked instruments and parallel processing.

Standard EQs delay some frequencies and thus cause phase shifts that become a problem with multiple mics or parallel processing, whereas Linear Phase EQ works without smearing or colouration. The Broadband component covers 22 Hz to 18 kHz with a lowband stage and five parametric stages, offering nine response curves including shelf, high-pass and low-pass filters with analog or digital slope characteristics plus a variable-width bell. The Lowband component focuses on 11 Hz to 602 Hz with three stages and 11 Hz resolution. With up to ±30 dB per stage, a selectable 12 or 30 dB display range and an interface modelled on the Renaissance EQ, it feels familiar straight away.
